Event Information

The Ride for Heart Health is an annual fundraiser event, held by the Cayuga Heart Institute, consisting of a scenic bike ride through the beautiful Finger Lakes. There are three routes to choose from: 30 miles, 50 miles and 70 miles.

Parking is available on the winery grounds and along the road on Center Road. Overflow parking will be available approximately 1 mile from the winery at the vineyard; you may either ride your bike to the winery or take a shuttle. Please DO NOT park on Lake Road — it has heavy (and crazy fast) traffic and no shoulders.

Yes, but you or an appointed adult guardian must sign a release form as well as remain with the minor (under age 18) at all times.

Friends and family members are welcome and encouraged to join you at the finish line! There will be activities on site after the ride that they may want to join in on as well.

There are route lengths vary based on the course you choose. From the professional cyclist to the recreational cyclist, there is a course for everyone.

We will have a safety van circling all routes. If for some reason you find yourself struggling to finish, please contact one of the numbers provided on the card in your rider SOS kit and we will gladly pick you and your bike up and safely transport you back to the winery.

Our crew will be monitoring all routes throughout the course of the morning. Please call one of the numbers provided on the card in your rider SOS packet and someone will be there to assist you in fixing your tire.

We highly encourage you to register for the ride before the day of the event as it helps us be better prepared for the amount of riders participating. However, we will be taking registrations the day of the event for those who couldn’t register ahead of time.

Yes, if you are registering on the day of the event, you can make your payment on site.

We accept both cash payments as well as credit card payments.

You may also make a donation directly to the Cayuga Heart Institute.
